Practical design. BAD build.

Came to the front of my very old Schwinn Suburban. Nice and wide for my FFA (Fat Feminine @ss) but I was wondering why it was partially detached from the frame and when I looked closely two of the three nuts holding the saddle to the frame/springs were NOT there . . security concerns? So I spent $2 for some half inch nuts in HD, problem solved. Need much better quality control.
