As others have noted, the alignment threads for taps are not cut precisely onto the tool body.

Judging by other reviews the odds of getting a properly made tool are 50/50. I am lost; The thread clearly doesn't match the body of the tool. return for refund. I took a 1" x 1" pry bar, spent a few minutes on my drill press and made an accurate tool that works well.
