Buyer Warning! Garbage.

Waste tool. If I could give zero points, I would. After bending the pushrod on the same valve that had a replacement bolt installed with this tool, we found that the bolt threads were not sealing straight due to thread misalignment in the tool. This is a modified rocking angle. Clearly visible with a straight edge. ATTENTION TO THE BUYER!

Pros
  • Aligns finger with remaining bolt
Cons
  • Newer model could have been selected

Judging by other reviews the odds of getting a properly made tool are 50/50. I am lost; The thread clearly doesn't match the body of the tool. return for refund. I took a 1" x 1" pry bar, spent a few minutes on my drill press and made an accurate tool that works well.

Pros
  • Helps remove press studs
Cons
  • So-so

Distance is wrong!

I don't often write reviews but this product disappointed me. The whole purpose of this tool is to cut perfectly straight, properly spaced rocker arm studs. While the clearance was tight, it didn't fit the heads of my small block Chevy. Before I drilled the larger pilot hole I could only tap the crooked studs. By drilling a slightly larger pilot hole I was able to find the center of the hole which I threaded into and cut into a straight bolt.

Pros
  • High reliability
Cons
  • Volume
