This was to replace the same model that burnt out after 15 months. I was excited when I saw that the mounting hardware was now spring loaded, that did that excitement did not last long. I had thought that i could remove the old one and snap this in place. But no ,the brackets are different. So remove the old install the new. If you have x-ray vision you can line up everything ,if not spend 20 minutes fiddling around.In 15 months will replace this with a study incandescent fixture.oh,BTW the instructions included are how to install the older model.Too cheap to print coorect instructions.
