Disappointed - Backpacks

Let me start by saying that this carrier may work for your situation but not mine. I raise kittens, especially litters from kittens. I usually have 4-6 kittens in a litter and they all have to go to the vet at the same time. They're pretty small when traveling so we don't need a big carrier (they weigh about 2.5lbs when they're spayed/neutered which is the last date I take them to). I also have 3 adult house cats who are my personal pets and sometimes need to be carried for them (depending on the litter I may also have a mother of kittens). With all the cat chaos in my house, it's important to have a sturdy luggage rack on hand, and I like to have a spare on hand just in case. One of the problems I have with having so many porters is space! Who has an entire closet to store tote bags? One of my buddies had a collapsible rack so I looked for that. I saw this one and decided to try it, but unfortunately it didn't suit me. This stretcher has a unique shape that has both advantages and disadvantages. It's easier to carry than my traditional hard-walled rectangular bags. It has a shoulder strap in addition to a handle which is really nice. I wish all my other straps had a shoulder strap to help keep everyone steady. It folds up for storage - a BIG BONUS and the main reason I ordered it. Unfortunately, I did not understand that it is held by a long zipper. There is no way to fold it without completely disassembling it. You need to assemble it for each use when you fold it for storage. It's not very difficult, but the zipper wasn't easy to use either. The fabric folded and my fiancé had to help me zip it up. The actual space available on the medium is very small for a "medium" size medium. As it rises, it really doesn't fit multiple animals because there's no room for a head. I can see it working on a lonely little dog or a lonely miniature cat. My adult cats are too vigorous for this to be a good idea and I feel bad about putting them in a carrier with little to no movement. It is lightweight, takes up little storage space and is easy to transport. Prices vary wildly — right now, gray is around $19 and brown is $45. It's a good deal at around $20, but I wouldn't pay $45 for it at all.
