We have undermount lighting with halogen technology. You can use the switch to select bright or dim. Halogens are very warm and warm coffee mugs on the bottom shelf. A few years ago we replaced the LED bulbs with another brand - they lasted less than 3 months and were replaced by the seller but failed again. These LED bulbs are perfect and respond perfectly to the high/low switch setting. They show no sign of lag when turned on, constant brightness for all 10 bulbs, and much, much colder. They worked so well we ordered another set of 5 bulbs to replace the remaining halogen bulbs.
