Panasonic makes good batteries. People complain that they leak, but I'm not sure how that happens as they are carbon stick and manganese dioxide batteries. All batteries will deplete over time, so keep an eye on them from time to time. Manganese dioxide will eventually corrode the battery, the substance is corrosive but there will be no liquid. If you're worried about acid leaking out and ruining the product it's in, these carbon style batteries are perfect for you. I use them in my geiger counters and muggles. After the batteries die, I remove the carbon sticks from them and make arc fire. I would buy these batteries instead of Duracell or Energizer anytime.
