I use it on my CNC router to hold thin long pieces. It eliminates chatter and resonance. I also use it to hold a length of sandpaper to a flat surface for hand flushing of brass inlay. I've used the same piece of tape on the same piece of sandpaper about 5 times still with good holding power.It has a woven fiber cloth inside, so it's very strong in shear, and it usually peels off in one piece. Any remaining adhesive that comes off the cloth cleans up very quickly with acetone.Cutting it with scissors will gum up your scissors immediately, so it's best cut with a razor.
