After one of the discs became clogged and failed before a full growth cycle I would definitely not recommend these stones. It almost killed the plant that was supposed to provide oxygen due to the destruction of the rock. After cleaning the stone well, it still does not work properly. I strongly do not recommend these stones for a hydroponic installation. Just spend a little more for a quality product that actually works and will last. Update: 2 out of 4 bricks clogged in less than half the growing season. I strongly do not recommend these stones for any application where anything is pressing on any surface. Most of time. Spend a little more money for real quality stones. Don't buy this.
