I didn't buy this to use as a game controller. I used it as a midi controller for my laptop. I found software online that allowed me to plug it in using the adapter that came with it, so I didn't even need a midi USB cable. That works great! And now I can make music on my laptop. Definitely robust, high-quality hardware.
