In the beginning they were beautiful. But I had my doubts when the long handle was too tight for my pan and had to be pushed down and then the short handle lid kept falling off. However, being handmade, I didn't want to compare such disparate quality to an otherwise beautiful product. Expensive due to improper installation? Yes, but if he keeps it going, that's not a problem for me. But this is the third time I've cooked with it, the corner of the short-stemmed lid caught fire and smoked the house with a terrible stench! The flame is often weak too. I bought them as a luxury item for myself and am so disappointed that I spent my money on them. It's not cheap. I didn't want them for decoration but one of them for use. I had no issues with the long handle catching fire, but I had issues with both short handles. Don't buy them if you plan to cook with them!
