Soft Shafts
Shanks are REALLY soft, one twisted on 4340 steel, the next limp at HSS speeds until the carbide chipped and rounded the bottom of the bit, but still usable. works fine with some higher quality inserts, but now they are only being switched to aluminum and brass in my shop.

- Uses standard APKT-1003 sockets (#6010-4203) with M2.5 x 6mm screw (#2100-0070).
