jagged or curved, as if someone had taken a hand file and made a cut.

I fell in love with 8 people who left 5 star reviews. This is dollar store tools quality. I expected the edge to be straight, not curved, jagged, or curved like someone took a hand file and made an edge with it.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Availability in stores

Overall good beats. Great beats for the price

Bits were shipped in labeled individual containers and well lubricated. So far I've only used a 1/16" bit in my CNC router, but it cut the walnut pretty well. I would recommend these bits to anyone looking to get started with Shapeoko style CNC.

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • Some issues

Plastic, wood, possibly aluminum

1/2 inch broke in half when I made a 1/32 cut in cold rolled steel, slow feed and rear gear. The cutting edge isn't exactly sharp either - you don't have to be careful when loading one into the collet. Haven't tried them on other materials yet, but don't have high hopes. After all, they're not even sharp - anyway will they cut wood or plastic?

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • No instructions

Think before you buy.

I use 1/4 inch on the CNC and it works great. I had to understand that the smaller ones wouldn't be very functional due to the shallow depth. I wouldn't downgrade the rating based on my own mistake, but I won't be buying this set again. For example, bit 1/16 has a maximum depth of 3/16. If depth of cut is not a concern I would recommend these bits.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • I won't say anything

I am very happy with it

I am very happy with it. For the price they did everything I wanted, which was basic milling on aluminum 6061. I broke off the smallest part, but you have to be very careful with that. It was really good, so I overdid it a bit and started moving the footage too fast and clicking it. Definitely user error in this one.

Pros
  • One year trial version
Cons
  • Some bugs

Quality end mills for cutting tools

These are good basic end mills. If you're doing work that requires a few thousandths of precision, this isn't for you. If you're in significant manufacturing, this isn't for you. If you are looking for a basic end mill for basic hobby milling then this is excellent value for money but know there are much better tools out there but also at a much higher price point. I personally use them as a 6061 milling hobby and they always work well enough for my needs.

Pros
  • This is fantastic
Cons
  • Fits

LOW PRICE = LOW QUALITY

DO NOT CUT HARD MATERIALS WITH THESE CUTTERS. OFFER. I pay double what I paid for that set of individual HSS end mills if I cut CRS more than once. If you have a CNC router and want to cut wood, go ahead. Otherwise cut carefully. I plan to buy again or buy slightly more expensive end mills. FYI: I use them for CNC wood milling.

Pros
  • √ 4 cutting edges, fully ground, high abrasion resistance, precision and cleanliness
Cons
  • Small things

End Mill Value: Square Nose

These are good plain end mills. If you're doing work that requires accuracy to a few thousandths, they're not for you. If you're in a big company, they're not for you. If you need a basic end mill for some basic hobby milling work this is excellent value for money but I know there are much better tools out there but at a much higher price. Personally, I use them for 6061 milling as a hobby. and they are always good enough for my needs. .

Pros
  • √ Cutting Edge Diameter: 1/16" 1/8" 5/32" 3/16" 1/4" 5/16" 3/8" 1/2 "
Cons
  • Available in black only

Excellent price, 19.99 for 8 bits. Can't beat it in the US. Right. The first thing bits came from China. Secondly, they were covered with a carbine. 3 they suck! I'm trying to cut a 12 x 12.8mm thick sheet of steel. The CNC is set for 17 passes at a depth of .054. The tip broke on the 1st bit in the 1st pass. Thought it was my fault. 2. Cutter cut in half, CNC set to 32 cpm, 12000, depth of cut 0.025. I will save and buy from the STAAT in the future.

Pros
  • √ Packing: 8 pcs
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
