shoes are not very good. This is very harsh for vulcanized shoes with very small sidewalls. I suspect a lot of this has to do with the fact that it's double scotch, which I don't think is needed as you'll burn a hole in the suede, blow through the heels and the first layer of tape will come loose like any Vulc skate shoe. after 3 weeks or so. While the G6 insert is nice and comfortable, it does slip in the shoe a bit and forces you to over-tighten the laces. This makes the silhouette of the shoe very flat and ugly. Finally, what disappointed me the most is that the "heel anchor" that was introduced as a new technology in this shoe sucks. It doesn't lock the heel as it's too low. My heel kept slipping out of the shoe until I fully tightened the laces, which can happen with any shoe that causes heel slippage. The shoe's best feature is the small heel tab that prevents your Achilles tendon from scratching the back of the collar. Overall I'm very disappointed and just want to warn people who are hesitant to buy this shoe.
