The actual measured setpoint of the alternator's built-in voltage regulator that I received is 14.97 volts at 75 degrees Fahrenheit (Fluke digital voltmeter) as opposed to the one supplied Manufacturer's data sheet stating it was measured at 14.28 volts, no temp. They probably contain a typical "measured" data sheet. This alternator looks well built and is an exact replica of the OEM block; it fits perfectly. Unfortunately, the output voltage is too high. I'm concerned that this excessively high voltage can damage expensive electrical components like the powertrain control module computer and cause bulbs to frequently burn out. If the seller or manufacturer provided a good replacement voltage regulator, I would replace it myself, just a few easy to access screws to loosen, no need to remove the alternator.
