Far from 5 inches, false advertising

So if you look closely enough at the product images it says it's actually 4.72 inches, which rounds up to 5 inches. 4.72 inches is barely enough for my application without increasing the size to 6 inches. But when I received it, the actual length was about 4.25 inches, which is much shorter than advertised. The whole point of getting this product is the length, but that's not exact. That's too short for me. I'll have to go down to 6 inches and live with the extra length that I don't really need.
