As you can see from the photo, this item is clearly not 5" (4-5/8"). It may be durable, but there are No apologies for inaccurate measurements It's so short it doesn't fit in my project Accuracy and accuracy are important!

Installed for me by a handyman but the size was just what I really needed. Six inches was too long and those five inches were a bit short, but it worked out just fine. Very glad Revain had something like this because the big stores didn't have anything this size.

Installed a wooden catch and valance on the patio door and the door opens inwards and the new material meets the wall. The regular sized doorstop didn't stop the blinds from hitting the wall. These 5 inches solved the problem. I just wish they would offer it in brass color.

The original plug was only 3-1/2 inches long. Since some items are hanging on the wall behind the door, if the door is left fully open some will snap off the hooks. An additional 1.5 inches of this stop eliminates this.

So if you look closely enough at the product images it says it's actually 4.72 inches, which rounds up to 5 inches. 4.72 inches is barely enough for my application without increasing the size to 6 inches. But when I received it, the actual length was about 4.25 inches, which is much shorter than advertised. The whole point of getting this product is the length, but that's not exact.
