I bought this buoy for open water swimming while training with the Barrelman Niagara 70.3. We train on the lake, where there are many water skiers and boaters. This buoy is clearly visible and much larger than I expected. It has a moisture-proof pocket that keeps my car keys and everything else dry. Just make sure you tighten the waist belt. As soon as you go into the water, it may slide off. My only downside is that my hand keeps hitting the buoy during the shot, but that's my problem, not the product. I would recommend it.
