Shown with mouthpiece air valve on pouch but missing. It has two air holes with screw caps for attaching the pump. Otherwise a good bag. Sturdy, big for great buoyancy, the storage compartment runs the full length of the bag so plenty of room, the pink color is easy to see.

We have colored it pink to make it more visible when snorkeling in open water. The dry bag inside is a great feature so you don't have to worry about leaving valuables on the beach. You could probably fit a pair of shorts and a t-shirt depending on how hard you inflate the buoy. You can also hold on to the buoy if you need to swim upright for a bit.

! The buoy is large and very bright. Seems durable. Doesn't bother me swimming in the lake, except maybe backstroke. I haven't used a drybag yet. One limitation - the towline loops around the hip belt - ideally remain on while sailing. But if you're walking around with a buoy and not wearing a lap belt, be careful not to drop or lose the lap belt.

Bought for my wife to swim with me in the lake. We are both triathletes. She didn't want that at all before. I was also skeptical about the dry bag claim. So we tested it and everything stayed dry. More importantly, my wife loves the gift and really enjoyed swimming in the lake with her new device and plans to do more. You can stop your sail for any reason and rest on your bag and importantly you will be more visible to boaters etc.

I was skeptical of how useful this would be for my open water swimming. I was wrong. With this thing I can swim longer, farther and even faster as I am less afraid of getting cramps and drowning in the water. I would like to draw the attention of potential buyers to the fact that the float has 2 air connections for 2 separate bladders. This means that even if you get punctured in one bladder, you can safely return while the other bladder is still inflated.

I bought this buoy for open water swimming while training with the Barrelman Niagara 70.3. We train on the lake, where there are many water skiers and boaters. This buoy is clearly visible and much larger than I expected. It has a moisture-proof pocket that keeps my car keys and everything else dry. Just make sure you tighten the waist belt. This is the second dry bag and buoy set I have recently purchased for open water swimming. Cheaper models work too, but they're (a) smaller and therefore less suited to things for those of us who travel alone and don't want to leave things on the beach, and (b) a lot thinner and I feel like I have to babysit it by walking the 1 mile to the beach instead of carrying it by the strap or buckle clasps. Highly recommend - I read a few reviews from people who had leaks but IMO they must be sealed…
