Review on Amazon Basics Rubber Sanding Block: Essential Tool for Smoother Surfaces by Nicholas Erickson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It looks good, but there are no instructions for a beginner. 4 stars ✨

A while ago I started to repaint my kitchen cabinets. Since I had a lot of sanding blocks that were too coarse, I cut out sheets of sandpaper and wrapped them around the blocks to make them finer. They worked fine, but when I saw this I realized there must be a much better solution. I had to put my project on hold for a while due to health reasons, but I hope to be able to start again soon. I just have paint and a top coat to apply the top shelves and I'm done. When I got this sanding block, I took a piece of sandpaper and tried to figure out how to stick it and leave it that way, but couldn't really get it to work. The block came in a transport packaging, otherwise nothing was included. There weren't any instructions on how to properly apply the sandpaper so I'll have to watch a video or whatever to figure it out. But as I discover my whole project, so will I find out. This seems to be a very good sanding block. It's quite soft, so I'm sure it will work well in all areas of the project, like the nooks and crannies in my closets. I have high hopes for it which is why I'm giving it 4 stars but will come back to update if anything out of the ordinary happens.
