The actual installation of the filter was easy, in the filter compartment. However, cleaning the glove box (of course it's called differently now that we use it in the South for guns, first aid kits, oil change slips, insurance cards, sunglasses, antibacterial wipes, hand sanitizer, rags from snot, snacks, bottles for airplanes) liquor .) was torture. This MDX now smells like new, although it smells the same as it did the day I changed the filters, new car, leather quality. Bring a flashlight and make sure the airflow is correct. Don't count on the old filter if it's original. Mine was all white and had no airflow indicator. Have fun and maybe have half your edible on hand to really have fun
