dado dado dado oh what would i do without you

it was one of those must have items even though i only used it a couple of times to cut dado when i was building a kitchen island that seems to last forever (Time clearly hates me). The item came in a sturdy box with ample padding and although some of the spacers were beginning to show rust they were fairly oiled I wasn't overly concerned. As for the cut, it's almost perfect. I still use a pusher or my favorite grr ripper (can't remember how many more ARrrrrrrrrrrrrr to come) because you never know if a board like Jaws will break under my hand. I'm also not rich enough to buy a stop saw (and even then I should play it safe), but I love my hands on a lot of things *cough*, so I even cut very flat 1/4" dados, GRRRrrrrrrripppper and other secure pushers/cushions are used. I had no problems with the quality of the cut. They all cut clean and smooth. The spacers and sanders work well and cut pine and hardwood with no problems. Yes, it's a hassle to change blades unless you have a dedicated table saw just to have a permanent stack of grooves, but nobody has the money for it, or especially space. But it's a must if you're making multiple groove cuts specifically for closet drawers, for example. Always perfect Get these ;)
