The cut leaves a tiny shelf on one side. Work that I carefully filed from a small shelf along with the rest, so I do not recommend and I am not satisfied with the purchase.

Dado stack works great, needs to add two small spacers to achieve half an inch. The cut quality is good, but I've seen better with more expensive stacks. Overall good value for money. The only issue I had was that the box had old water damage and the seal bag clearly had water and rust on some of the seals. Most of the rust was removed from the blades with steel wool. Contains some photos showing rust on seals.

Great for the price. The document specifies how thick it should be laid for the nominal thickness of the plywood, which is confusing if you don't read it (.708 for a 3/4 inch ply) but actually saves time. The cut quality is excellent. Plywood, imported prefab birch plywood had virtually no cracking. Edge quality was as good as my CMT combo blade. The bottom of the groove was flat and smooth. I have made many dowels with this blade stack and also with the 8" version. I would only use a little over a 3/4" stack along with a zero gap stop to make simple dowels.
