Great set of knives. They come very well packaged and insanely sharp, any slip up on your part handling them and you'll have a few drops of blood to remind you not to make that mistake again. Both cuts have a flat bottom. I have tested the notch in both softwood and hardwood and never measured more than 0.001 from the advertised 0.25 and 0.375. They are accurate, I had no vibrations and they just did their job. My saw doesn't accept groove sets so I use these instead. They allow me to make multiple passes to make 1/2" or 3/4" tabs or tongues instead of the ten or more I used to make. I took a marker and labeled each blade #1 and #2, as I often only use one blade at a time this allows me to alternate usage so I don't wear a blade unevenly. I can not say anything. bad about them, they made dado easier and more accurate and saved a lot of time and mistakes.
