Avoid those strut mounts

Replaced my stock strut mounts and bellows/or dusters at the same time. These mounts are great and have been finished with professional grade Raybestos 556-1108 suspension bellows. Perfect for the springs and post mounting area, use a little care when resetting the post assembly and lining up the holes, a third hand will help guide you on top of the post and insert screws while holding the post up. I knocked off one of the round metal pins trying to screw it up and keep the strut down. It is very difficult to reattach with the strut/spring assembly. And very important: Do not overtighten the screws at the top and check the tightening torque again after a week or two. After a few years those strut mounts really broke, there was a rattling noise on both sides, eventually the driver's side failed and broke on the inside. Spend a little more and just replace the Mazda branded bracket. Save time by not emptying racks just to change brackets.
