The main reason I chose this switch was the 192W power budget. I didn't need half of it, but the next size up is about 10 watts smaller. Initial power-up takes longer to boot than non-PoE switches. In addition to the IP address and other restrictions, it must take into account the power requirements. However, I installed this switch three months ago to connect and power multiple wireless access points in a large multi-story building. The setting is made via the browser. After several reboots during setup, there was no need to reboot or otherwise handle this switch. If I need to deal with it, it has its own IP address so I can log in remotely.
