Review on CASE OF 12 - 16 oz. EZ Cap Beer Bottles - CLEAR: Premium Solution for Brewing Enthusiasts! by Anna Dominguez

I needed another set of 12 bottles because my kombucha was almost ready to be bottled and I still had a decent amount of the last batch in the fridge. I decided to try these because they arrive quicker than the other wrap I bought a few months ago and they had really good reviews specifically for use with kombucha. My first impression: plastic lids are really cheap. They have a seam in the middle where they are shaped and are very light. The lids were very difficult to snap into place. My husband had to take them off me. It seemed that after locking once, they actually opened and re-locked a little easier. Then I washed and disinfected the bottles and let them dry on a shelf next to my sink. When I went after them later, the metal of the hinged lid was already rusting. I can't comment on how well they keep fizz because after seeing the caustic metal I didn't feel confident using them. They were well packed, one box within another box. None of them broke and they are very similar to my other bottles (except for the flip cap metal and very poor quality toppers). The photos show rusty metal. You can see the stitching on the synthetic upper in one of the pictures, but it's more visible/larger in person. The crate containing the bottles was slightly damaged, however the crate sent from the outside was undamaged. I returned them and bought the same bottles I received a few months ago which have been washed many times with no problems. there. A replacement swing might be ok, but at the current price it's not worth it.
