Small, non-slip on parquet floors

I bought this doorstop in March 2018 to keep my front door open for movers with a self-closing hinge. I had hardwood floors and the doorstop didn't hold the door, so I borrowed one from a neighbor. The manufacturer's 4.8-inch length includes a metal handle; The rubber wedge itself is an inch shorter (see photo). Wood floor and wouldn't hold up the door I paid $12.95 in March, I still wouldn't buy it if it was at the current price of $8.61.
