This does a really good job of eliminating high frequency howl/hum even with the headlights on. But at the same time; changed the volume and level of the lower frequency, both related to the equalizer. It boosted the sub-frequency too much to clip my speakers; again the need to roll off the bass, which also made my mid-bass disappear and completely ruined the EQ spectrum. With this isolator I now need a capacitor on the factory subwoofer to filter out the extra low frequency instead of having to adjust the EQ on my stereo which unfortunately is only 3 band.
