Must be damaged. - Amplifier Installation

I can tell this thing wants to work but it looks damaged. You know how sometimes it comes loose when you press the headphone jack and you have to wiggle it to get it working? That's what this is about. After a good wobble and if I can balance it and stay in place, it works. Aggravating.

Pros
  • GOLS Certificate
Cons
  • Unsure

It cured my madness!

I didn't really realize my sanity was hanging by a thread due to the incessant buzzing of the bluetooth aftermarket situation in my car. I didn't know such a device existed! I stumbled across this and ordered it in a hurry and simply installed it and the relief was immediate. 10/10 recommend!

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Good with extra parts Suitable for car electronics accessories

I have tried this on 2 cars, 1 on a Ford F150, works fine. The other was a Toyota Prius, it had a horrible high pitched squeak that I couldn't stand. I bought a $10 loop wrench and it fixed the Prius problem. It works great, sounds great, and people won't even let you know you're using a Bluetooth device when you're on the call.

The best noise reduction filter for the price. Works amazing.

I tried turning on the 3mm aux port and upgrading my car to Bluetooth, but because I tried to connect a Bluetooth device to the car charger, I kept hearing engine noise in the Car charger then through the bluetooth device to my aux port. This device filters out car noise from the auxiliary charger. Radios already have noise filters and car chargers don't, but this product has solved that problem.

Expected disappointment. Didn't receive it.

My husband recently installed a new radio in my car and then installed a satellite radio (separate unit) powered by Alexa Auto. Every time my satellite radio or Alexa played through the speakers, the radio would have this crazy, annoying, high-pitched squeaking and popping. I didn't expect it to be fixed. My satellite radio has a separate display and receiver unit (the display is on the dash and the receiver is under the dish) so we placed it under the dash between the receiver and the display…

Does exactly what it should!

I was having some really annoying digital computer noise (not AC hum) in my studio monitors. Troubleshooting took care of cables, monitors, peripherals, other electronics - everything but the PC motherboard itself. Eventually I decided to try this as a last resort and was pleasantly surprised when it worked great (for less than $10! ). No hissing or other noticeable impact on sound quality. After that, I immediately bought another model with TRS/XLR connectors for my audio interface (which…

Removes noise but adds unwanted extra low frequency bass.

This does a really good job of eliminating high frequency howl/hum even with the headlights on. But at the same time; changed the volume and level of the lower frequency, both related to the equalizer. It boosted the sub-frequency too much to clip my speakers; again the need to roll off the bass, which also made my mid-bass disappear and completely ruined the EQ spectrum. With this isolator I now need a capacitor on the factory subwoofer to filter out the extra low frequency instead of having…

Noise filter preview

These little car stereos either last a long time or break quickly. I have a 3.5 line coming out of the glove box so I keep it there and use a 3.5 extension cord from there to the DAC/phone. At 3.5 to my head unit, the Echo Auto was so poorly designed that I had engine noise. Whether the Revain engineers did their job, like Apple did with their Lightning to 3.5 adapter, or the cheap third-party Lightning to 3.5 adapter I also own, or the more expensive, high-quality USB DAC, the I sometimes use…
