Used Freud's version for many years. However, I've been having some issues with canceling lately. Very narrow necks click. Bought as the picture looked like the neck was thicker. Now that I've received and made a small batch of boxes, I've found the following: - The neck is actually a bit thicker, 15-20%, hopefully this translates into more durability. - I had an immediate impression that the drill was sharper and cleaner, so the sharpness/geometry on this drill appears to be excellent. I use a CNC machine and software to cut dovetails. I used to spend quite a bit of time adjusting the height to tighten the connections. For some reason this bit needed a zero depth setting. Unique to my machine and methodology, but still a plus, at least for me. All in all, I'm glad I tried it. At first glance it seems that it has all the advantages. While I have a ton of Freud's bits and blades, I'll switch to this one for the dovetail. It's just perfect for my system.
