Review on HARFO Electronic Keypad Deadbolt Door Lock With Handle Set, Fingerprint Smart Digital Entry Lock, Aged Bronze Finish by Brian Warmack

I didn't get to install the handle on this one as my door didn't have a hole for the handle, just the deadbolt and I am not good at drilling through doors. Last one I drilled through I splintered on the inside so I decided not to try again. The handle is strait forward and is made very well but I am going to talk more about what this item is really about, the Deadbolt. This deadbolt is easy to install, easy to set up, and looks really good. I like that the keyhole is covered by a magnetic cover to prevent dirt or water or bugs or anything else from easily getting inside it. The cover can be opened up by pressing around the cover about 5 o'clock and it will pop out then you can remove it to use the key option. Otherwise you may never need to remove it. The use of the fingerprint and the key card access is amazing and they work great too. The Fingerprint can be hit or miss when working and I find it to be about the same as my cell phone. Wet, dirty, or cold hands play a huge role in that I find. The option I chose to use is the keypad though. This is the best option for me and works without fail and without having to carry anything around with me. This is the recommended method to use all the time unless someone is right there then 2nd would be the fingerprint option as then you don't have to use the keypad and them see your password. Like any other password though I would have it as long as you can make it and remember it using as many different numbers as possible to make it harder to guess for someone trying to manipulate it for access. Works great, I definitely recommend this lock for anyone looking for a good looking full featured doorlock. Just make sure to keep a key somewhere (friend, neighbor, family, hidden rock, etc.) as if the batteries go dead and you don't get a chance to change them you don't want to be locked out.
