Review on 🐦 Enhance Your Parakeet's Habitat with Vision Planter, the Perfect Cage Accessory - 83070 by Vincent Burton

I bought two of these pots at the same time as the Vision Medium M01 bird cage. These planters are quite large, about the size of a giant finch nest, 6 1/2 inches high and 6 inches wide, protruding 6 1/2 inches from the cage. I've decorated my cage with colorful silk flowers to add some fun to the cage, but my finches can't sit on perches because they're too wide and slippery. I've watched them fall off right away a couple of times so I'll try sanding them down or bird perch covers to see if that helps. The idea is good, but I think they should offer an option for smaller birds, with smaller pots and perches that are better suited to finches and canaries. I'm not even sure a parrot can sit on these perches. The perch itself is only 4 inches long once mounted on the cage wire, so larger birds that have large feet to grab onto perches don't even have a very tall perch. Like I said, I love this idea, but I have a feeling some changes could be made if they have a canary on their packaging! If I knew what I know now, I wouldn't have bought them for finches.
