Review on Makita GC01ZA Lithium Ion Cordless Adhesive: Superior Performance and Convenience by Anthony Cornelius

Revainrating 5 out of 5

For those of us who can't spin by hand anymore.

Sealing. I never liked it when I was younger and I love it even less now. And now arthritis is becoming a factor, well. Now most people will tell you that 12 volt systems are obsolete and useless and that looking at 18 or higher and having to lug around a MASSIVE battery while you work seems counterproductive to me. My small CXT system performed as well as the larger instruments, and in some cases even better due to the smaller form factor. Even better, there's a whole suite of tools that revolve around a single battery, and that's the main nuance of the caulking gun in question. Is it stuck now? Yes / Yes! But this thing packs SERIOUS torque, and if you wanted to you could probably use it as a climbing aid, or maybe a jack. And that's just part. The job rate can be reduced to near zero, to the point of running out of monster pearls that have you jogging to keep up. And with the purchase of a 29-ounce hose retainer and bushing, you can use just about every single hose sealant or adhesive on the market. I'll post an update once I've run enough projects through this thing. Now minuses. That is hard! And that with no battery OR chatter in one gun. If you're worried about your hands and arms not getting the right stuff, take it easy because this beast's weight gives you a bang for your buck. So as long as you're not squeezing the daylight out of a standard pistol, your fingers will love the fact that they won't hurt you after a day of squeezing the caulking gun.
