I have been using the 'Best-1' brand hummingbird feeders for many years, and albeit glass bottles sufficient , mostly permanent, the plastic parts of the base need to be replaced from time to time. In our case we had one failure and another that just burned out in the sun and we had to replace them. These spare parts are "Original Equipment" and fit exactly on glass bottles. As far as I can tell they are the same material as my old ones so should be just as strong. They are easy to use and easy to clean. I would highly recommend them as a replacement.
