I am converting all my hummingbird feeders to this base. They are heavy and well built. They are easy to clean and do not tend to mold. They also have a standard thread that fits many standard plastic and glass bottles. They make excellent feeders.

Have been using these products for many years. But at some point the production has to be done differently and by someone else. However, these feeders are not as good as they used to be. At first I had trouble getting the two caps on the bottle and there were a couple of holes that were almost plugged. We're in the country, we have lots of lobsters and we take our lobsters to heart! LAUGH OUT LOUD! I would buy again but look elsewhere.

I love this feeder! The perch is very good, allows me to sit comfortably during lunch. It doesn't leak, is fairly easy to clean (according to the man) and offers easy access to the delicious nectar inside. The plastic started to degrade after being exposed to all sorts of weather conditions for several years, hence the reason for replacing the bases. It would be nice if they could be washed in the dishwasher, but people don't seem to mind washing their hands.

I have been using the 'Best-1' brand hummingbird feeders for many years, and albeit glass bottles sufficient , mostly permanent, the plastic parts of the base need to be replaced from time to time. In our case we had one failure and another that just burned out in the sun and we had to replace them. These spare parts are "Original Equipment" and fit exactly on glass bottles.
