Works great and is bloody good value for money. I use it to test the charging system on my car and motorcycle. Alligator clips are very useful for automotive testing and many other situations where it is not possible to hold the test leads on the battery with your hands. Just place the clips on the battery posts and they stay in place. In that sense, the backlit display is good, just in case you need to troubleshoot your car in the dark. It's very bright and the display itself is very easy to read (with or without a backlight). The instructions are almost useless, they are written in extremely broken English. That's fine, since everything you need to know about using a multimeter can be found with a simple Google search. This device is no different in operation from those used on these instruction websites.
