We have the same kitchen scissors and other camping scissors, see photo. The old scissors weren't very good and I got a lot of complaints even after spending 30 minutes sharpening them. As soon as I received these kitchen scissors, all the complaints went away. It turns out that good design helps. Two-part blade - for breaking hard materials at the back and for thin cutting at the front. The curvature helps with slaughtering chickens and the back has been a blessing. Freshly caught fish was descaled with these scissors (not me, not my experience). Very versatile and useful. I like the bag, especially for camping. We hang it next to the cooking area. The handles look cool and fit perfectly in the hand. They are easy to attach, do not stick and do not move. The spring is not too strong and not too weak. Bottom line, a well made pair of scissors - we hand wash them and dry them with the cloth provided after washing.
