Review on AMD FX 9590 Desktop Processor FD9590FHHKWOF by Grant Zeeb

Monster CPU suitable for computers and accessories

This processor kills. Too bad I didn't buy it when it was outdated. When I bought this processor, it was already 2 years old and inferior in performance to most of the 4th, 5th and 6th generation i7s. So why did I choose this particular processor and not one of them? 1. It's cheaper. At the time of purchase, I paid about $250, which is a lot better than prices for a similar i72. Speed. This thing is lightning fast! 4.7GHz Stock! and was supposed to boost to 5.0GHz, I couldn't get that part to work so I just overclocked it to 5.1 and left it there and it doesn't complain. You can easily overclock it if you know what you're doing. I just used the preset built into my motherboard to get 5.1. works constantly throughout the day. When I tried to tune it and go higher I got 5.5 but it was a bit scary. but it's definitely possible to go higher if you have enough coolers, good motherboard and know-how.3. cores. Its damn 8 cores are incredibly fast. No, it's not hyperthreading, but it runs smoothly at 5.0 GHz on all 8 cores. That's amazing and a feat that's hard to match on 4 cores with Intel. You have a lot of computing power at your fingertips and you can do whatever you want with it. Paying more for better quality from Intel at the expense of other parts of the computer? I leave that to you. This was the choice I made for my build, I'm happy with it. Hopefully, if these new AMD RYZEN chips pay off to perform well, I can get my hands on another monster CPU with more cores, but time will tell.
