For comparison, I'm a white woman with fine hair. I have tried so many different shampoos and conditioners in different ways. I've always had problems with greasy hair. I found unnatural products that seemed to work, but my hair wasn't healthy. It was heavy, broke easily, and grew as fast as molasses. After a while my hair was so annoying, wouldn't grow back properly, just looked messy, I shaved it off about half an inch. I started looking for more natural products. I tried the ones made for oily hair. They really made it oilier! So, against all hair care advice, I started using moisturizing shampoos and conditioners. I also started using conditioner on my scalp. 😱 I thought your scalp is skin, your hair grows out of your pores, you're not going to cleanse your face without moisturizing it, so why do it to your scalp? He was a perfect match for me. My favorite product so far has been Argan Oil Shampoo/Conditioner. But it's the best I've ever used! It's so good I've almost stopped using leave-in conditioner except for about once a month for extra moisture when my hair is feeling pretty bad. My hair is growing like crazy too! That was another big reason I got this. In just a few months, it's grown from half an inch to about two inches! moral of the story; If conventional wisdom doesn't help you, find your own wisdom! Also, this shampoo and conditioner is great for different hair types.
