Put this on my father-in-law's truck so he blushes even more when he hits the brakes. I installed a similar product on my truck a few years ago after being hit from behind by a customer in a low-slung Christmas car who failed to notice my brake lights out of the corner of her eye while on her cell phone. (!) I thought I'd buy the LED version but reviews of most of them say they don't work as expected with turn signals. This uses incandescent bulbs and its functions are very similar to trailer lights - all three lights illuminate for braking, the left light flashes with the left turn signal, the right light flashes with the right turn signal. The lights are fairly bright even in full daylight, so you don't lose anything in that department by opting for incandescent over LEDs. I am very happy with this choice! Incidentally, we used a 1 foot 4 pin flat extension cable to wrap the wire behind the bumper to connect to the factory 4 pin trailer light socket on this 2017 Ram 1500.
