I have asthma from household allergens. Mostly a cat allergy that has gotten worse over the years. I recently moved in and the cats now have their own room with their own air purifier and spend minimal time outside of that room and I don't go there so my symptoms should have improved but they haven't worsened! . It took a while and I did a few things to try and take as many extra meds to combat the respiratory symptoms that never quite went away! I've been replacing the AC filter with a different brand merv8 every 20-30 days since I moved here and bought 2 more air purifiers. I was vacuuming and cleaning like crazy, but it wasn't until I applied the Nordic Pure filter that I finally felt some relief! I really thought I was dying. My symptoms even spread to my job and I couldn't figure out why. Every little thing has set it up so far! I'm so happy I cried.
