Well if you are not very familiar with the new sockets and their types of mounts then you will surely find it quite complicated and frustrating. The instructions are multilingual, printed extremely small and difficult to understand. I've been building computers for many years, but this was my first install of aio. It was a struggle. I originally bought this to pair with my main Asus x570 TUF and Ryzin 3600x gaming board. I recently switched from 3 monitors to a VR headset (Rift S) mainly for racing sims. After getting the motherboard instructions I was able to analyze how to install this on my chip. That's the moral of this story. BETTER KEEP THE ADDITIONAL BRACKET FROM THE MOTHERBOARD WHEN USING AMD. Apparently they use 2 different types of PC fan mounts. Once installed it works well, very quiet. I thought it would be loud based on reviews of similar AIO processors, but this one is pretty quiet. Mine has always done this with a stock Wraith Spire fan/heatsink. It's a lot harder. Like 20+ degrees Celsius! It also lowered the overall temperature in my case somewhat and now has real airflow through the case as well. Works great for me so far, reliable and quiet. Will be updated if there are problems.
