I bought this for my elderly mom who loves grilled cheese sandwiches. I doubted this toaster would work, but it did! The only suggestion I would make is after you toast the sandwich, let it sit for a few minutes to allow the cheese to melt better. I prepared it and gave it to her right away. The bread was toasted on the outside. Cleaning was easy, overall impressive!
