I am just starting out as an artist, so I was really thrilled to check out the selection at Artisto, an online store that advertises itself as catering to artists of all experience levels. Having said that, I must say that my experience was extremely discouraging. To begin, there was a lot of unnecessary content on the website, making it challenging to navigate. Because there was no obvious path or guidance available to me, I discovered that I was drowning in a sea of products and categories. To say it was anything other than overwhelming and exasperating would be an understatement. But even when I did discover what I was looking for, the quality of the items I purchased was not up to my standards. It was especially disappointing to find that many of the supplies were low-cost and of poor quality, particularly in light of the expensive prices. When I went into a store that advertised itself as a one-stop-shop for artists, I anticipated better service than what I received. And don't even get me started on the lackluster support for customers. I contacted customer service with some inquiries regarding my purchase, but the response I received was dismissive and not very helpful. It was abundantly clear that the business did not care about my experience as a customer or my level of satisfaction. In general, I would not suggest Artisto to anyone seeking for high-quality art supplies or a pleasant shopping experience. They do not meet either of those criteria. Look elsewhere for all of your artistic requirements so you can spare yourself the aggravation.
