Review on 🧪 Rectorseal 97606 4oz EP 400 Epoxy Sealant by Junrey Jewel

This stuff is great. I use it to make bamboo canes and to fill the voids in the cane at the joint (both shaft and handle) when assembling the handle. Huge rebar plus a hardened 3-1/2" deck that screws into the center of the epoxy plugs, drills, self-screws, reinstalls, and glues with regular two-part epoxy to make it even stronger. For heavy-duty stick/snake hooks, I start with a heavy-walled stick (I have 3-4 different types growing around my house), then set up a handle and let dry. Then I go back and apply a 1/8"-1/4" coat down the stem 2 inches and at the top of the handle (keeping the approximate width of the stem) using the outside of the joint for EVEN MORE strength enclose all directions. The blue painter's tape helps to get sharp edges when filling and painting. Then a quick sanding to a smooth finish and 2-3 coats of epoxy spray paint give me an attractive high strength bond. I've used this configuration for light snake hooks to flip sheet metal, plywood, small fallen trees, and medium sized tree stumps without reaching underneath and biting the old tail. I have attached a photo of my described heavy duty stick. I can't walk in the woods anymore but want him to be strong when my legs fall and I have to hook and pull up. I painted one below the reinforcement up to the next stick joint. The handle is a great PVC tape that doesn't use glue, but my fancy stick has a leather handle that's much prettier. I have been using this stick continuously for two years. Years old and it has dents and scratches, but it's as solid as the day it was made.
