RECTORSEAL ep-400 epoxy putty, 2 oz. RECTORSEAL epoxy putty is a Pre-Measured, high grade epoxy and hardener formulated together in one stick, making it easy to break off the amount needed for each repair. This is manufactured in United States. Pressure tested to 1300 psi. Can withstand temperatures continuously up to 500-Degree F. Can even harden under water. Contains no asbestos. Ideal for full body guitar repairs.

. Overall it works fairly well with wood and the quick curing time is a big plus. Wood putty either takes too long or just isn't strong enough. It doesn't always work perfectly and I had to redo some spots two or three times, but it probably has more to do with using it with wood and the downsides of trying to fix something organic with grain. THE BEST EPOXY COMPOUND I HAVE EVER USED!

This epoxy is the BEST I have used and does EVERYTHING it is advertised for. It bonds to metals (including cast iron, copper, etc.) in minutes and cures to the strength of steel in 30-60 minutes. Also, it's 100% TRUE that this epoxy can withstand temperatures up to 500 degrees permanently without decomposition and will also resist water. I use it a lot and it's great.

This stuff is great. I use it to make bamboo canes and to fill the voids in the cane at the joint (both shaft and handle) when assembling the handle. Huge rebar plus a hardened 3-1/2" deck that screws into the center of the epoxy plugs, drills, self-screws, reinstalls, and glues with regular two-part epoxy to make it even stronger.
