. Overall it works fairly well with wood and the quick curing time is a big plus. Wood putty either takes too long or just isn't strong enough. It doesn't always work perfectly and I had to redo some spots two or three times, but it probably has more to do with using it with wood and the downsides of trying to fix something organic with grain. It's pretty obvious that you probably wouldn't want to use this material with an acoustic instrument, nor with anything that has grit (with a translucent finish), but that's probably the only caveat. Any guitar body with an opaque finish is a good candidate, and you'll likely use gray or white primers (this material is greyish in color). So the only reason for four stars instead of five is that it's not ideal for wood repair, which is what I use it for.
