Review on 🧪 Rectorseal 97606 4oz EP 400 Epoxy Sealant by Ryan Nguyen

This epoxy is the BEST I have used and does EVERYTHING it is advertised for. It bonds to metals (including cast iron, copper, etc.) in minutes and cures to the strength of steel in 30-60 minutes. Also, it's 100% TRUE that this epoxy can withstand temperatures up to 500 degrees permanently without decomposition and will also resist water. The key to using this product is to properly prepare the surface of the metal to which you are gluing this product by thoroughly cleaning the surface with rubbing alcohol, a wire brush, sandpaper and/or a rag to ensure the surface is clean is. Then (wearing rubber gloves) you separate a piece of epoxy and roll it in your hand, mix thoroughly (with activator) and then apply to the surface you wish to repair. You can shape and mold it into your desired shape within 3-5 minutes after mixing the epoxy and this is another advantage of this product. The product bonds to the metal in minutes and cures in 30-60 minutes. After 60 minutes the repair is complete and you can use the metal for its intended purpose. I give this product 5 stars because it does exactly what it is advertised to do. I only wish the company would offer a liquid form of this product (perhaps a quart size) that you could mix into a paste for larger applications, but this product works and restores as advertised - GREAT PRODUCT!
