The quality of the ball head is good but not perfect. I saw someone complain about the sloppy paintwork and finishing touches. I would agree with this statement. My ball head has very small dents in several places. But you can only see that if you look closely. The ball head holds my phone with no problems. It fits my Canon Mark II with a 24-70mm lens. I'm not sure I really think it will hold the heavier cameras in place. It seems strong and durable. It's a bit heavy, but I think that makes it more stable. It's easy to set up. But the camera mount guide doesn't slide too smoothly. Fixed without problems. Disregarding all the shortcomings of this ball head, it's still a decent machine, especially for such a price. I'll probably choose a more solid brand in the future, but for now it does the job.
